Franziska Harnisch (DE) woont en werkt in Berlijn. Haar werk begint waar regels ontstaan en verbroken worden. Ze bevraagt, confronteert en zoekt naar verklaringen. Daarin betrekt ze vaak de toeschouwer. Iedereen denkt, neemt waar en handelt, vaak uit gewoonte, maar Franziska nodigt ons uit om daar eens kritisch naar te kijken.
Franziska vraagt je in dit werk om een selfie te mailen. Deze selfie zal ze verwerken in de vorige. Een soort morfologisch proces. Zodat je als je goed oplet, je jezelf ziet veranderen. Waar begin jij en houdt de ander op?

A portrait of the self that you provide to someone requires a series of decisions. From the decision to follow the invitation of the Open Call to the submission of the photo, a wide variety of processes can take place, all of which deal with a more or less intense, temporary search for the self-image.
